Duties & Responsibilities

• Firewall management. Includes; timely updates, policy implementation as required (FortiGate Firewall)
• Ensure that all users are connected through the firewall with the set and approved access rights.
• Ensure secure access to all company resources with the set parameters and guidelines, they include,VPN, SAP Cloud access, New VM server access, Space
• Recognizes problems by identifying abnormalities; reporting violations.
• Determines security violations and inefficiencies by conducting periodic audits.
• User support – help users in any IT issue as guided by the IT policy
• Network Design, implementation, documentation and Monitoring
• Ensuring Data security by employing proper Metrix to data access based on position and access clearance.
• Restricted and monitored email communication with external recipients.
• Internet access restricted to company applications only as specified by IT Policy and limited to Job Description
• Restriction of resource utilization on Laptop and Desktops according to set parameters and guidelines.
• Ensure that all company application are updated. This includes Antivirus, Operating system, MS office
• Install, configure and upgrade security software (e.g. antivirus programs) Operating system updates (from a central place).
• Network Security. All users connected to the company network should have proper clearance as stipulated in IT policy.
• All users need to use approved user name and password to access system resources that are guided by IT policy
• CCTV recordings are secure from unwanted access and limited to authorized personnel
• Ensure that any device plugged to the network either locally or remotely are as well updated and secure.
• Managing Cloud resources (Azure) not limited to billing and Virtual machine performances
• Ensure AD availability
• Office 365 email security
• SAP User Knowledge

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

1. Compliance to departmental SOP
2. Compliance to IT policy
3. Secure company information and Network
4. Regular system checks

Minimum Qualifications: 

Diploma/Degree in Information Technology

Minimum Experience:

5 years’ Experience on Network environment and Azure experience

3 years’ experience on Network Security including Firewall
