Our Client a Manufacturing group in Nairobi is seeking to fill the role of a General Manager. The incumbent will be responsible for the overall direction, control and management of all activities within the manufacturing and logistical operations of the company. 

The Candidate:

An individual in a General Manager role is a generalist who is familiar with all areas of the business and can coordinate processes and operations across the organization. A General Manager must speak the languages of operations, sales, marketing, finance and accounting, human resource, lastly research and development or engineering.      

The General Manager is responsible for the overall smooth running of the organization. He is responsible to ensure that all departments run smoothly, all data entries are up-to-date and all reports are submitted on time.

Job Accountabilities/Key Responsibilities

Developing manufacturing and operational strategic plans and generally overseeing the implementation to ensure maximum capacity utilisation of the manufacturing units towards achieving the group’s strategy, growth and profit objectives.
