Job Description

Our client a market leader FMCG retail company is seeking to fill the role of a Human Resource Business Partner who will be responsible for quality implementation of the recruitment plan, to ensure a timely hiring process that supports business.

Reporting to: HR Manager - Organisation Development 

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Provide input into the development of the annual recruitment plan to support resourcing that supports business requirements
  • Prepare competence - based interview tools to ensure the interview process focuses on the competencies the business needs as per the responsibilities captured in the job descriptions
  • Undertake sourcing of candidates using the advised recruitment channel to ensure the business attracts candidates with the required competencies
  • Review job descriptions to ensure all changes are reflected in a timely manner to ensure the recruitment process is well advised
  • Working with the learning and development team, design orientation programs that reflect the role requirements, that provide an enriching and positive experience to the employee, and that supports the employee to settle quickly into the role
  • Undertake recruitment reporting to ensure candidate competence levels and organisation fit is captured to support user departments in arriving at the best candidate
  • Contribute towards the development of the company as an Employer brand to support talent retention and to attract the best candidates in the market
  • Undertake exit interviews to get data on how to improve the employee experience
  • Keep track of all recruitment data to support in quality reporting and for reference in decision making on quality hires
  • Design quality and brand compliant advertisements to reflect a positive brand that attracts the right talent


  • Bachelor’s Degree in HR or related field
  • CHRP - K / Ongoing
  • 5+ Years of experience, with at least 2 years delivering competence-based recruitment in a dynamic fast paced environment with a staff force of over 3000 employees
  • Proficient in MS office tools
