The Role:

1. Frequently read through the contracts and understand the policies provided like day room calculation, third adult policy, and weekend rates e.t.c as provided on the various contracts. This includes keying in all the cancellation policies, child policies, inclusions, and exclusions.
2. Accurate and timely data comparison of costs entered into TourPlan against any services provided by the suppliers like bush meals, picnic meals, nature walks, sundowners, boat rides e.t.c that are not included in the accommodation rates.
3. Matching of Invoices received from suppliers to the costs loaded in the system by the sales team per booking
4. Assist in loading rates in a timely and accurate manner including packages.
5. Checking costs and loading of packages by the use of PCM’s in TourPlan as provided on our website and agents manuals.
6. Accurate and timely data entry and analysis into Tour Plan new or existing scheduled packages like Magical Kenya, Taste of Kenya, Kenya Escapes 
7. Knowledge and use of the companies’ set price codes for agents and direct clients rates calculation that will eventually be used to generate accurate cost vs sales margins
8. Preparation and updates on a word document all the price codes used in TourPlan to enable sales consultants ease of reference when opening new agent or direct bookings in TourPlan.
9. Ensure stipulated turnaround time to all enquiries and offer responses
10. Assist Flag and or delete unnecessary entries done by any previous database consultant.
11. Accurate and timely data entry into the system with zero error rates in regard to property names, meal types, locations, meal plans, travel dates, rates, and currencies,
12. Daily escalation of TourPlan issues to your supervisor in writing.

The Role:

• Bachelors’ degree/diploma in any tours or business-related field.
• Over 1-year working experience in a similar role in a category A Kato tour company
• Good working knowledge of TourPlan and data entry Will be an added advantage
• Basic IT knowledge with a bias towards office applications including spreadsheets.
• Strong Knowledge in data analysis and MS excel
