Our client an established FMCG Distributor is seeking to fill the role of a Depot Manager.

The successful candidate will be in charge of all depot operations, sales, and administrative duties.

The Role

• Overall management of day-to-day operation of the depot.
• Manage the team to deliver on their daily tasks
• Supervision and management of all the staff within the branch
• Work with the HR department on handling staff-related issues 
• Manage all transport and logistics issues to be able to deliver the goods and services to the customer on time
• Manage the security team to be able to report the correct information of items leaving the branch. 
• Ensure all the processes and controls are adhered to by the staff in regards to stock, sales, and deliveries of goods
• Evaluate the processes and come up with better ways of working to ensure the efficiency of work for the team.
• Work with the cashier to confirm daily cash and cheque payments
• Carry out regular checks of the entire premises and other assets.
• Ensure that the premises are clean and aesthetically appealing at all times.
• Ensure that all company assets are well maintained and accounted for
• Ensure opening and closing of the branch on time
• Enhancing the overall customer experience at the branch
• Monitor achievement of the sales team at the branch
• Forecast annual, quarterly, and monthly sales revenue
• Cultivate effective business relationships with executive decision makers
• Check the daily reports for the field sales team 
• Oversee stock control, stock levels, and stock reconciliation
• Supervise and participate in the Stocktake process.
• Manage the inventory and stock processes and controls

The Candidate:

• Degree holder in a business-related field
• 5 years plus experience in depot or distribution management

Salary: KES 80,000.00
