BRAND & MEDIA EXECUTIVE
Reporting to: Marketing & CEX manager
Job Purpose
The brand executive implements marketing and media plans and initiatives relating to the brand and customers that drive the company’s equity and grow the company’s market share. Brand executive champions the brand identity throughout the organization.
JOB ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Actively participates in designing and alignment of the annual marketing strategy for ick and hub markets
- Plans and implements media and promo activities such as digital and print advertisements, SMM activities, events, point-of-sales marketing etc. that support effectively the commercial objectives of the company and are aligned with approved marketing strategy
- Executes new product or service launches, monitors launch thematic advertising, advertorials, media coverage and joint promotion with media partners and third parties. calls for corrections if necessary
- Conceptualizes and initiates digital and social media creative campaigns through working with the assigned digital and creative agencies
- Maintains relationships with creative agency teams, media vendors and promo agencies to ensure collaboration in promotional activities
- Monitors progress of campaigns using various metrics and timely submits reports of performance
- Collaborates with functional heads and other relevant colleagues in preparing budgets, creating special projects and monitoring expenses
- Understands company’s product and customer profile and write thorough specs for each.
- Monitors ongoing brand campaigns spend against the budget, keeping accurate records and
- Highlighting where variances occur. provides all related necessary paperwork in a timely manner.
- Regularly checks the conformity of company and brands’ information in various media and printed carriers, ensures that all branded materials up to the latest brand guidelines
- Assists in the production of ongoing competitor analysis and reporting, with reference to pricing, presentation and promotion.
- Responsible for content creation including design and copy writing for digital ads and related marketing collaterals, including those provided by external suppliers
- Oversees that media plans execution happens in a most cost-efficient manner. constantly searches for cost optimization and new partnerships that can enhance better value for the company
- Undertakes market / customer requirements surveys and generate regular reports on status
- Generate detailed data on market segmentation, competitor analysis on pricing and promotion initiatives to enhance customer loyalty.
- Generates of monthly reports on the brand equity parameters, digital strategy execution metrics, PR and other communication metrics.
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or relevant discipline
At least 3 years’ relevant experience branding and/or marketing, experience in multinational companies is a plus
Familiarity with social media and web analytics
Training in public relations is an added advantage
Proficient knowledge in marketing software’s e.g CRM.
Computer literate, very good command of power point
