Job Description

Our client a boutique restaurant is seeking to hire a restaurant manager.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • In charge of daily operations of the restaurant; food service and cleanliness 
  • Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction
  • Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints
  • Regularly review product quality and research new vendors
  • People management;
    • Hiring and staff training
    • Shift, Attendance, and Leave management
    • Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity
  • Oversee the cashier and ensure all end-of-day reports
  • Estimate future needs for goods, and take part in costing
  • Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations
  • Market insights and advice on continuous improvement
  • Ensuring compliance with all necessary legislative requirements necessary for operations: Health & Safety, City Council, and Fire regulations

Minimum Requirements

  • Degree or Diploma in food service or related studies
  • 4+ years  of experience in management position in a similar establishment i.e casual dining. 
  • Highly skilled in interpersonal relations and positive demeanor.
  • keen attention to detail with a natural flare for excellent customer service.
  • Dynamic decision-maker in a fast-paced environment.
