Our client a boutique restaurant is seeking to hire a restaurant manager.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- In charge of daily operations of the restaurant; food service and cleanliness
- Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction
- Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints
- Regularly review product quality and research new vendors
- People management;
- Hiring and staff training
- Shift, Attendance, and Leave management
- Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity
- Oversee the cashier and ensure all end-of-day reports
- Estimate future needs for goods, and take part in costing
- Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations
- Market insights and advice on continuous improvement
- Ensuring compliance with all necessary legislative requirements necessary for operations: Health & Safety, City Council, and Fire regulations
Minimum Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in food service or related studies
- 4+ years of experience in management position in a similar establishment i.e casual dining.
- Highly skilled in interpersonal relations and positive demeanor.
- keen attention to detail with a natural flare for excellent customer service.
- Dynamic decision-maker in a fast-paced environment.
