Roles and Responsibilities:
- All other revenue checking’s
- Approval for Issue Request & LPO
- Assisting GM and other HOD for better cost management.
- Assisting Tall Order & RRQ team for implementation of the new software (POS is done) - Inventory side going on.
- Checking all POS postings and the following; Full Board Guest, Discount Report, Void Report, Walk-ins, Taxes, KOT, BOT, Comp or House Use
- Checking and Monitoring all cost aspects in the co-ordination with Department head
- Checking housekeeping Occupancy Report and reconciliation
- Checking of RRQ - Reservation
- Checking Revenue on daily basis with standard reconciliation
- Control over store movement
- Control over: LPO, QTY, and Quality on local & Kampala procurement, leakage of revenue and theft, SOP's implementation, and its timely review. Operation Inventory (Crocker & Linen). Boat operation. Fuel operation, item movement (Store to User Department)
- Coordination with Kampala team for the betterment of the procurement process.
- Emergency Order Scrutiny
- Escalating matters to the proper channel.
- Expenses Summary; All Departmental Summaries with Item Group, Fuel Cost, R&M Cost, Boat Expenses, HLP Cost, Cost of Sales, Food Cost, Beverage Cost, Gift Shop Cost, Staff Café Cost, Tobacco Cost
- Finding new suppliers for the better and more effective operation
- Handling Internal & External Auditors
- Handling statutory requirements on the ground level and facilitating further
- Inventory Management
- Keeping an eye everywhere so that theft/stealing can be stopped.
- Laundry Comp Book
- Linen Lost Record Book
- Making proper coordination for passing information from Lodge to the head office.
- Making sure that all inventory is proper and has no deviation.
- Non-Chargeable Report
- Operation Stock - Spot Check
- Process of Complementary
- Purchase planning for monthly and emergency
- Setting parameters to freeze loop wholes
- Setting SOP's for the betterment and smooth operation with minimizing cost implication
- Store Checking - Spot Check
- Vouchers for Payment
Minimum Requirements:
- Degree in business related field; Finance and Accounting major
- At least CPA II
- 4+ years’ experience in a similar role in 4/5 Star establishment; lodge experience a plus
