Technical Sales Engineer
Job brief
The technical support engineer will provide site-specific or customer-specific designs and validate design requirements to suit the client. provided much-needed skills in resolving technical issues concerning customer installations and support Operations and Maintenance
Duties and Responsibilities
- Identify, pre-qualify, and acquire prospects for the sales of large commercial Solar PV Grid -Tie projects and perform technical due diligence.
- Negotiate and structure Solar PV and Solar Integrated contract deals.
- Manage the sales request process for all project types and work within guidelines and set triggers to efficiently manage priorities.
- Performs site diligence, provide site specific or customer specific design and validate design requirements to suit the client.
- Support projects estimating and scheduling tasks as required.
- Act as key point of contact between client and the company in project implementation.
- Target and contact key decision makers in large commercial enterprises, hotels/resorts etc to create a need and present new projects opportunities, propose specific sales contracts, obtain fully executed contracts for new projects, and achieve business development goals.
Desired Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 3- Years’ experience in system design and Project Management.
- T3 Licensed
- Electrical Engineering / Energy Engineering
- Technical PV solutions support experience
- Knowledge of Project Management will be an added advantage
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent client-facing skills.
