Job Purpose

To process procurement orders on required materials/services.

Key Responsibilities of the job:

• Review stocks/ levels of materials against consumption and determine reorder quantities for authorization.
• Contact suppliers and request for quotations.
• Compile/review quotations, select and negotiate with suppliers for competitive prices and credit terms.
• Maintain/update suppliers list.
• Prepare purchase orders for system approvals by respective authorized personnel.
• Receive documents from receiving department, verify quantities/quality/prices of delivered materials against invoice for accuracy.
• Submit invoices to finance department for processing and payment as per terms.
• Update the Procurement Manager on status and pending deliveries for the day.
• Prepare monthly report on stocks and consumption.
• Participate in Stakeholder and Management meetings as necessary.
• Prepare/present reports.
• Perform any other tasks that may be assigned from time to time  

Academic and/or Professional Qualifications

*Degree Procurement and Supply Chain Management

Previous relevant work experience required
