CLAIMS OFFICER
Level: Junior/Entry Level
Job Brief
The Claims Officer is responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and managing claims to provide efficient, timely, and fair resolution. The Claims Officer will work closely with underwriters, and other departments to ensure that each claim is handled with integrity and meets the company’s standards.
Duties & Responsibilities
Claim Assessment and Processing:
Court Attendance and Legal Coordination
Compliance with laws and Regulations
Financial Coordination and claims settlement.
Incident Analysis and Reporting
Fraud detection and prevention.
Minimum Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Insurance, Risk Management, or a related field.
2. Relevant certifications in claims, such as Associate in Claims (AIC) are an added advantage.
3. 2-3 years of experience in claims management, insurance, or a similar field.
