Job Purpose:
The Country Business Manager will develop and support the implementation of the country’s
overall business strategy, manage resources, & establish policies to achieve the set business goal.
Duties & Responsibilities.
- Deliver effective sales programs and campaigns to meet the market execution needs for the
- Deliver and embed all new Sales initiatives throughout the
- Provide clarity to the trade partners on our Route to market
- Lead the Country execution team to improve Distributor route profitability for an improved Distributor Return on Investment (ROI).
- Successfully champion, embed and support the execution of AVAA for sales and market share
- Support the monitoring of the company’s sales performance by embracing the key performance
- Lead the market expansion and growth initiatives for improved country numeric and weighted
- Grow the capability and discipline of the country execution team for improved order generation and
- Champion the Country outlet master data update and
- Grow the country outlets and outlet share of shelf in line with the set Country
- Support the sourcing, vetting, training, evaluation, and sustainability of the country’s
- Support the implementation of the Distributor Management System (DMS) & Sales force automation for improved regional sales visibility.
- Implement and execute the preferred route to market approach by defining the relevant metrics and monitoring on their performance.
- Deliver a route competitive price terrane across the categories MPL plays in
- Deliver channel development through creation of EDs and channel architecture
- Motivate the Country team to deliver their responsibility through Job clarity, training, coordination, and timely provision of tools of trade to progressively improve their performance.
- Preparation of the Country Sales department budget as per the set guidelines
- Monitor and control the allocatedDeliver the monthly sales revenue and profitability targets.

- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field.
- Master’s degree in business administration is an added advantage.
- Excellent track record of effective Sales Execution.
- 5 to 7 years of experience in managing FMCG Industry
