Public Relations & Client Engagement Manager
Reports to: Head of Construction & Projects
Job Purpose
To plan and ensure flawless execution of marketing communications initiatives that support company’s marketing strategy, building the brand and engaging clients.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and support the company's communication strategy, management of the web sites and social media content.
- Develop and support all marketing materials, including presentations, brochures, online support materials, and video content.
- Act as the company spokesperson i.e., speaking in public at presentations, press conferences, interviews, and meetings on company’s products.
- Lead and support public relations and press announcements by the company with business partners and clients.
- Cultivate and maintain media relationships and relationships with other key opinion formers.
- Work with the team to enhance the media strategy that collaborates with marketing, PR and advertising campaigns on various media channels
- Manage all internal and external events with clients and/or employees so as to maximize the outcome of Marketing and Communications initiatives.
- Manage special events such as sponsorship of races, parties introducing new products, or other activities the firm supports to gain public attention through the media without advertising directly.
- Plan and execute company events e.g., dinners, cocktails, korogas etc for the purpose of forming personal relationships with each client as well as prospecting new businesses and open a platform with which customers can raise complaints.
- Ensure that customers are aware of changes and projects within the company, distribute executive messages, prepare presentations, and conduct meetings to share information.
- Direct marketing through arranging golf tournaments participation etc and provide communications coaching for customers.
- Participate in the implementation of EHS / ISO and good housekeeping standards
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in any of the following fields from a recognized university: Commerce, and Business administration
- Diploma in Sales and Marketing Management
- At least five (5) Years in a manufacturing or construction set-up
