Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate financial records, including daily cash flow, expenses, and income.
• Ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded and categorized.
• Reconcile bank statements and ledgers to ensure accuracy.
• Assist in creating and managing the lodge’s annual budget.
• Monitor actual financial performance against the budget and report any discrepancies.
• Provide forecasts on financial trends and expenses to help guide decision-making.
• Manage cash handling processes and ensure the safekeeping of cash, checks, and financial documents.
• Process payments to vendors, suppliers, and service providers.
• Ensure timely collection of outstanding payments from guests, clients, or customers.
• Prepare invoices and follow up on overdue accounts.
• Calculate and process employee wages, ensuring tax compliance and deductions.
• Prepare and maintain payroll records and ensure employees are paid correctly and on time.
• Prepare and submit regular daily, weekly, monthly reports to higher management.
• Work with auditors during audits to ensure accurate reporting and compliance.
• Track and manage inventory, including supplies, food, beverages, and other consumables.
• Monitor and control cash flow, ensuring no discrepancies occur.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must have a CPA K.
- 5+ years’ experience as accountant preferably hospitality industry
- Must be Tally proficient.
- Willingness to work and live very in very remote locations
