The Planning & Warehouse Manager will be responsible for leading the planning and Warehouse function for Tanzania operations to effectively create and maintain an efficient production and distribution schedule that meets customer requirements while minimizing cycle times and effectively utilizing inventory.

Roles& Responsibilities:

• Oversee and mentor the Planning, warehousing and distribution to ensure a high level of proficiency and development.
• Create level loaded Master Production Schedule while maintaining targeted inventory levels.
• Ensure monthly production plan is made and progress being monitored.
• Proactive information to production about what is be produced depending on the inventory levels.
• Maintain Inventory levels as per company norms.
• Ensure there is not stock out of Finished Goods.
• Identify bottlenecks and capacity issues with the Production Management team.
• Establish and monitor ERP system parameters, including safety stock levels for finished goods.
• Lead weekly/monthly Production Schedule meetings.
• All MIS report preparation related to Planning & Distribution
• Ensure Inventory level is maintained in all depots and avoid stock out of FG
• Ensure Depot operations with highest efficiency and integrity.
• Ensure SOP and polices related to Depots, Distribution and Fleet management if followed
• Ensure no stock variance in CWH and Depot stocks during company stock take
• Ensure daily stock take, investigate, and identify the root cause of variance.
• Ensure cost control in operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field
• 8 years experience in Production planning, Depot operations, Fleet management and logistics of which 3 in leadership roles
• Work experience in the manufacturing industry.
