Job Description

The successful candidate will support Human Resources, Corporate Affairs, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), and Conservancy Management functions while ensuring compliance with Kenyan labour and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Human Resource Support

  • Maintain and update employee records and HR databases.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and employee induction processes.
  • Monitor attendance, leave records, and HR compliance requirements.
  • Assist with statutory documentation including SHIF/NHIF, NSSF, and PAYE.
  • Support employee welfare initiatives, training programs, and performance appraisal processes.
  • Provide administrative support during disciplinary and grievance procedures.

Corporate Affairs Support

  • Prepare and maintain corporate records, contracts, and statutory documents.
  • Track renewal of business permits, licenses, leases, and insurance policies.
  • Liaise with regulators, legal advisors, county authorities, and other stakeholders.
  • Support office administration, vendor coordination, and compliance audits.

CSR & Community Engagement

  • Coordinate community engagement and CSR activities.
  • Maintain records of sponsorships, bursaries, and outreach projects.
  • Support planning and implementation of community development initiatives.

Conservancy Management Support

  • Maintain lease records, landowner registers, and conservancy agreements.
  • Assist with reporting and documentation related to conservancy operations.
  • Support communication between conservancy management, field teams, and stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Higher Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in HR, administration, compliance, CSR, or related support roles.
  • Good understanding of the Employment Act and other Kenyan labour laws.
  • Knowledge of SHIF/NHIF, NSSF, PAYE, and HR administrative processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and HR information systems.
  • Experience working with community leaders, local authorities, or conservancies will be an added advantage.
