Job Description
The Retail Sales Executive is responsible for recruiting new customers around the branches in order to boost footfall and support the implementation of retail marketing initiatives.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Identify and acquire new customers through proactive field sales and business development activities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers to drive sales growth.
- Promote new products and create awareness of the company's products and services.
- Recruit and onboard new customers within the branch catchment areas.
- Execute marketing initiatives, including staff engagement programs, garage programs, in-store promotions, trade shows, exhibitions, and product activations.
- Conduct regular customer visits to understand client needs and provide effective sales solutions.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries and provide exceptional customer service.
- Support branch retail teams in achieving sales and customer acquisition objectives.
- Develop strategic local business partnerships to enhance market penetration.
- Drive branch profitability by achieving and exceeding assigned sales targets.
- Recommend innovative initiatives to improve branch sales performance and customer experience.
- Implement branch-specific marketing campaigns and promotional activities.
- Prepare and execute weekly and monthly sales plans.
- Maintain accurate customer records and sales activities using the company's CRM system (Zendesk Sell).
- Conduct market intelligence by monitoring competitor activities, customer trends, and emerging market opportunities, and provide actionable reports.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of proven experience in sales, business development, or account management.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Self-driven, target-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
Salary: 30k-40k
