Van Sales Representative -Nakuru
Job Summary
The Van Sales Representative is responsible for driving sales by delivering products to customers, developing strong customer relationships, and identifying new business opportunities within the assigned territory. The role ensures product availability, excellent customer service, timely collections, and achievement of sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Sell and distribute products to existing and new customers within the assigned route.
- Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
- Maintain strong relationships with customers and provide excellent service.
- Identify and onboard new retail outlets to grow market coverage.
- Ensure proper product merchandising and visibility at customer outlets.
- Process customer orders, issue invoices/receipts, and maintain accurate sales records.
- Collect payments in line with company credit policies and reconcile daily cash collections.
- Monitor stock levels in the van and ensure proper inventory management.
- Report market intelligence, competitor activities, and customer feedback to management.
- Ensure the company vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and operated in compliance with traffic regulations.
Minimum Qualifications
- Diploma or Certificate in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in van sales, FMCG sales, or direct distribution.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Good communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet sales targets.
